Manejo integral de residuos sólidos y líquidos en el Parque Nacional Isla del Coco

The project focuses on guaranteeing the integral management of solid waste and wastewater in the Isla del Coco National Park, to contribute to the conservation of its marine and terrestrial biodiversity, through the composting of organic waste from the kitchen and a collection center for the classification, weighing and transfer of these wastes. Gray and black wastewater is managed through a traditional system of grease traps, ashtrays and septic tanks.
