The project addresses key sustainable development issues such as biodiversity loss,
the disconnection between communities and their natural environment, and the lack of
comprehensive environmental education. By strengthening its educational program,
implementing community activities and ecological interventions, and designing and establishing
an interpretive trail at CASA, the project seeks to strengthen green infrastructure and
environmental education in urban forests. This will promote the conservation and recovery of
biodiversity, foster environmentally informed and resilient citizenship, and encourage
sustainable practices from an early age.
